Four matching white marble capitals. On each of the capitals, one side (back) is left plain, and there are crosses on either side. They all show signs of having been re-used subsequently.

Apparatus

In the first edition it was implied that all four capitals were identical; in fact the fourth does not have the same monogram as the other three.

Translation

i-iii. John Nesbitt suggested, on the basis of the photographs, the resolution Συμβατικίου, 'of Symbaticius'.
