Edition τύμβος Ἰορδά νοιο τὸν Εὐλαλί ου ἀπὸ φύτλης παρ θενικὴ κρυόεσσα Δίκη λάτριν ἄξιον εἶχεν· βάσκανος ἀλλά μιν ὦκα δυσ ώνυμος ἥρπασε Μοί ρη λαμπρὸν λ λσασαοη στερ' ἀπαιρ

Translation This is the tomb of Jordanes from the stem of Eulalius, whom chilly virgin justice had as a worthy servant; but jealous, hatefully-named Fate snatched him quickly, he who was splendid taking away.
