Translation

Diogenes son of Leon the son of Hieron the son of Diogenes (gave) the six columns with ?tori and capitals from his own money for the People

Commentary

For other column dedications from the Hadrianic Baths see two from a group of fourteen dedicated by Nestor and Zenon (5.205 [=Mendel 173], and four from the six dedicated by Artemon (5.2 [=Mendel 172]) and (a fragment) 1113 [=Boulanger B Page 23, no 29].

Original location: Unknown, but very probably from Hadrianic Baths. Found: South Agora: Portico of Tiberius SW; the southern end of the west portico. ; Last known location: Museum
