The extent of the missing space can be determined by comparison with the wording of 8.108 (=69.317).

Translation

For Aphrodite, the gods Augusti, the People and the block of seats and the vaults: Aristokles Molossos, [son of Artemidoros], (entitled) lover of glory and lover of the city, and K[aikos Papias, son of Artemidoros (gave them); Hermas son of Aristokles [the son of Artemidoros] supervised the work in accordance with the will of Molossos, his foster-father, and also promised the third bank of seats in the auditorium.

One of a group of inscriptions, in a distinctive hand, by Aristokles Molossos: 8.113, 8.111, 8.112, 8.108 and 1173; cf also 8.82; see Reynolds, Aph Papers 2

Locations

Two blocks (e. & f.) from the right end found reused in the Walls, South-east, south of the East Gate, near 12.711), 12.539, 12.524; three more found during excavation of the Theatre: b. in Theatre V, 1967; a. in Theatre VI, 1968; c. & d. in Parodos area, 1969. Unknown, Theatre e. & f. still in situ; new fragments (a–d) in Museum.

Rediscovered by the NYU expedition, together with three further fragments (a. 68.709, b. 67.216, c. & d. 69.351) excavated in 1967-1969.
