<p>A <rs type="material">white marble</rs> <rs type="objectType">altar-stele</rs> with moulding above and below (<measure dim="height" unit="metre" type="length">0.84</measure> x <measure dim="width" unit="metre" type="length">0.37</measure> x <measure dim="depth" unit="metre" type="length">0.28</measure>). The relief is of a heavily armed <rs type="decoration">gladiator</rs>, with short sword in right hand, long shield in left, and a helmet which obscures his face, advancing right.</p>

<p> <rs type="found">Robert assumed that this altar-stele was found with the others seen by Reichel, <xref type="inscription" n="625" href="120015">12.15</xref>, <xref type="inscription" n="626" href="120013">12.13</xref>, and <xref type="inscription" n="627" href="120016">12.16</xref>, all of which were found near the <rs type="monuList">Stadium</rs>; it is also copied by Kubitschek on an endpaper with <xref type="inscription" n="626" href="120013">12.13</xref> and <xref type="inscription" n="627" href="120016">12.16</xref>. But the location given by Reichel suggests that it was seen south of the <rs type="monuList">Walls, South (east part)</rs>, and should probably therefore be associated with <xref type="inscription" n="629" href="120621">12.621</xref>, <xref type="inscription" n="630" href="120622">12.622</xref>, and <xref type="inscription" n="631" href="120615">12.615</xref>, all found reused in that part of the city wall</rs>
