white marble sarcophagus front (0.56 × 0.43 × 0.16) with relief below showing winged figures and a palm branch;

Inscribed on the upper margin, in an area which is in poor condition.

Translation

of Mar(cus) Aur(elius) high priest, the husband of [ . . . ] Zenonis.

Commentary

The last line presumably (?) contained the name of the stephanephoros: cf. 15.203 (=LBW 1629)
