Apparatus

In ll.1, 2, 10, 21, and 23 Sherard has Ο for Ω. It is not certain whether we should assume the same error, or an alternative spelling, in νεοποιῶν, l.18.

Translation

Antonius Flavius Antiochos, son of Metrodoros, who won the boys' boxing in the contest celebrated for the fifteenth four-year occurrence of the Aphrodeisiea Philemoniea; the contest-presidents were the neopoioi led by Julius Aurelius Charidemos, sophist, son of Zelos and grandson of Zelos, (who were) high-priests and founders. Antonius Flavius Metrodoros, his father, undertook the erection of the statue.
