Edition εἰκόνα χαλκὴν ἐν τῇ ἀγορᾷ καὶ ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ τοῦ Ἄρεως ἐχοῦσαν ἐπιγραφὴν τήνδε ὁ δῆμος ἐτιμησε Περείταν Ἀδράστου ἱερὴ Ἄρεως ἄνδρα καλὸν καὶ ἀγαθὸν ἐπαίνῳ χρυσῷ στεφάνῳ εἰκόνι χαλκῇ καὶ ἄλλῃ γραπτῇ προεδρίᾳ ἐν τοῖς ἀγῶσιν ἀρετῆς ἕνεκεν καὶ εὐνοίας ἣν ἔχων διετέλεσεν εἰς τὸν σύμπαντα δῆμον ἀναθεῖναι δὲ καὶ στηλὴν λευκολίθου ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ τοῦ n ἐφ᾿ ὁς ἐπιγραφήσεται τόδε τὸ ψήφισ μα
Translation

. . . the Council and the People . . . decreed to honour . . . praise . . . and crown him . . . and to erect ] an image of bronze in the Agora and [another one painted] in the sanctuary of Ares, carrying this inscription: The People has honoured [?Pere]itas son of Adrastos, priest of Ares, a fine and good man, with praise, a golden crown, an image of bronze, another one painted, and a front seat at the contests, for his excellence and for his continual benevolence to the whole people: and to erect a marble stele in the sanctuary of Ares on [which] this decree shall be inscribed.
