Apparatus

Line 1: it is uncertain how the end of this line should be supplemented, although if the verb at the end of line 4 is correctly understood, the nominative of a participle seems likely.

Translation

[ . . ? . . ] ?having fulfilled [ . . ? . . ] and through a decree of the most powerful Council [ . . ? . . ] ?was thought worthy [ . . ? . . ]

Commentary

The text, if rightly interpreted, would be part of an honorary decree; but it is too fragmentary for certainty.
