<head>Commentary</head>
<p> The layout suggests two sisters (the cognomen of the second at the beginning of l.3) whose father's name appeared in l.5.</p><p>A Julia Paula of the early third century A.D. is described on her tomb (<xref type="inscription" n="1585" href="120909">12.909</xref> =MAMA 564) as a descendant of those responsible for the city's autonomy, <foreign lang="grc">τῶν συναιτίων τῇ πόλει τῆς αὐτονομία</foreign>, in view of which it is tempting to relate her to Julius Zoilos, together, perhaps, with this earlier Julia Paula.
