Lower left side of a white marble block moulded below (c 0.70 x 0.42 x 0.64).

Description of Text

Inscribed on the visible face (a) within a moulded panel, and (b) on the lower moulding. There was already a faulty area on the face which the cutter avoided.

Letters

Ave. 0.015. The serifs are exaggerated, but the forms not quite standard II - III cent.

Date

Probably early second century A.D. (lettering).

Edition νε δηνάρια ιιι Ι ἔξεσται δὲ οὐδὲ ὑπὸ τὴν ἰσώστην νοις αὐτῶν ἢ εἴ τινι Καλλικράτης συνχωρήσει ἐπὶ ἐάν τις παρὰ ταῦτα τι ποιήσῃ ἀποτείσει ουτον τῶν ἐπιγραφῶν ἀπο κεῖται κα ην ἰσώστην καὶ τῶν εἰς τ ὸν πλάταν ἡρωίδος τὸ ἕκτον μηνὸς Δείου
Translation

denarii will be possible neither under the burial niche [ . . . ?chil]dren of them or if Kallikrates shall give permission to anyone since if anyone should do anyhting contrary to this, he will pay of the inscriptions is deposited [ . . . the] burial niche and the on the platform deceased (female), [stephanephoros for] the sixth time, month Deios.
