Translation

I Eutychos lie here, being 18 years old; foster child of Eunoe, he died a young man (Reynolds)

or

Eutychos lies here, [who died] at the age of 18. Eunoes (?), (his) alumnus, died even younger. (Smith)

Commentary

νεώτερος is used to describe an age class, apparently, but not certainly, interchageably with νέος (see Roueché, PPA, p. 123), and is probably not a comparative.
