<p>Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus Pius Augustus, Britannicus Maximus. The People <supplied reason="subaudible">put up his statue</supplied> from the bequest of Flavius Attalos. Marcus Aurelius Chresimos, son of Apollonios, undertook <supplied reason="subaudible">care of the erection</supplied>.</p>

<head>Commentary</head>
<p>This text must have accompanied a statue of Caracalla, whose name included the element Britannicus from 210 A.D.</p><p> Another statue of Julia Domna (<xref type="inscription" n="1309" href="120642">12.642</xref>=MAMA 452) which is a pair to this, was found in the same area; a further statue of Caracalla (<xref type="inscription" n="1308" href="120326">12.326</xref>=MAMA 451) was set up from the same bequest.</p><p>The epimelete is not otherwise known at present.</p>
