Description of Monument

Five fragments, which do not join, from a sarcophagus front. a. Left side fragment (1.11 x 0.58 x 1.28) with lower edge surviving; b. fragment from ?right side, without top or bottom edges (0.64 x 0.40 x 0.18); c. fragment without edges (0.17 x 0.22 x 0.21); d. fragment without edges (0.18 x 0.23 x 0.19); e. fragment broken on all sides (0.15 x 0.28 x 0.13) with traces of cement on the face from re-use.

Description of Text

Inscribed on the face and within several of the wreaths, which are 0.18 in diameter. a. ll.2-5, 8-10, 14-16 within wreaths; b. ll.3-6, 10 ff. within wreaths; c. within a wreath; d. inscribed above a wreath, the upper edge of which survives, chipped; e. inscribed within a wreath.
