Description of Monument

White marble stele with traces of a moulding above (0.86 x 1.02 x depth not measurable). Surface prepared but not highly polished for the inscription; stele left roughly dressed towards the base.

Edition ζῆ ὁ βωμὸς καὶ ἡ σορός ἐστιν Οὐλπίου Κλαυδίου Χαρίτωνος ἰατροῦ ἰς ἣν σορὸν τεθήσεται αὐτὸς καὶ Φλαουία Θάλεια ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ καὶ Οὔλπιος Ἀπελλᾶς ὁ υἱὸς αὐτῶν ἕτερος δὲ οὐδεὶς τεθήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ ἐπεὶ ὁ θάψας ἕτερον ἀποτείσει εἰς τειμὰς τῶν Σεβαστῶν δηνάρια Ϛ ὁμοίως εἶναι καὶ τὰς παρακειμένας τῷ βωμῷ καὶ τῷ σορίῳ ἰσώσστας πλαδιμοὺς τρεῖς Οὐλπίου Χαρίτωνος ἐξ ὧν μίαν εἶναι Κορνηλιανοῦ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ τὴν δὲ μίαν Διονυσίου τοῦ Διονυσί ου τοῦ Τάτας υἱοῦ τῆς γενομένης Χαρίτωνος γυναικὸς τὴν δὲ τρίτην Οὐλπίου Ἀπελλᾶ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ
