Edition ἡ βουλὴ καὶ ὁ δῆμος ἐτείμησαν Ἰούλιον Αὐρήλιον Χαρίδημον τὸν σοφιστήν, ἱερέα διὰ βίου θεοῦ Διονύσου, ἔκγονον ἀρχιερέων καὶ ων καὶ στεφανη φόρων καὶ τῶν συγκτισάντων τὴν πατρίδα τὰς μεγίστας ἀρχὰς καὶ λειτουργίας φιλοτείμως ἐκτελέσαντα καὶ κατορθωσαντα πολλὰ τῇ πόλει χρήματα ντα δὲ αὐτῇ τὸν ἐν πᾶσιν εὐεργέτην τῆς πατρίδος

Translation

[?The council and the people honoured ?Julius] Aureli[us Charidemos the] sophist [ priest for life of the God Dio]nysos [...] [descendant of high]priests [and ... -s and those who shared in the found]ing of the [city, having] carried out [?the greatest ] magistracies and lit[urgies hon]ourably [and having ? improved] many [ things ?for the city] [...] money [....]

Commentary

As Robert pointed out, the man honoured may be Julius Aurelius Charidemos Iulianos, known from 12.909, or his father Claudius Aurelius Zelos, with a further epithet; both men were sophists.
