Description of Monument

Fragment of white marble relief panel (0.35 x 0.34 x 0.22) with bottom edge surviving. To the right, a man (broken away from shoulders upwards) is kneeling, supported by his left hand; he is naked except for a loin-guard, and perhaps a strap on his upper chest. With his right hand he is pulling at the harness worn by a creature - - either a bear or a very heavy dog - - which is biting his right thigh.
